Hart Union School District \nPROMPT: IF YOU COULD TRAVEL BACK IN UNITED STATES HISTORY TO PERSONALLY WITNESS AN EVENT OR SERIES OF EVENTS\, LEADING TO THE ENACTMENT OF NATIONAL LEGISLATION\, WHAT EVENT(S) WOULD THAT BE\, AND WHY IS THIS LEGISLATION MEANINGFUL TO YOU? \nAll interested senior class students should contact Sarah Hunt\, Executive Assistant at the SCV Bar Association for sign-up instructions\, forms\, and questions (see below for contact information). \nThe overall scoring of the competition will be comprised of both the submitted essay and speech presentation. Speeches will be a maximum of 4 minutes in length. The oral competition will be hosted via ZOOM on Thursday\, April 29\, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. No props. A scoring rubric will be provided to participating students for their review. \nStudents selected to participate in the oral competition will be notified by telephone and/or email on or before April 22\, 2021.
